The Draft 2009
Fantasy Football, Draft Girls, ESPN 103.3 and your spot in a twelve team league. Are you dreaming? No way, The Draft 2009 returns to the Lone Star state in search of the 6th annual $10,000 Fantasy Football Champion of Texas. This is the fantasy football event of the year!
On Sunday, August 30th, The Draft 2009 will be held at the Arlington Convention Center.
Team entries start as low as $39.95 and include the following festivities held at The Hilton Anatole:
1. Live pre-draft Lottery: Saturday, August 29th 5pm - 7pm at Love & War in Texas – Grapevine location. Join the Head2Head staff as we hold a live public lottery that determines each league's draft order. Please note that attendance is not required and lottery results will be emailed afterwards to all team owners.
2. The Draft 2009 registration: Sunday, August 30th. 11:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. Pick up your registration packet and free giveaways.
3. The Draft 2009. Sunday, August 30th. Noon - 4:00 p.m. Draft your team in an All-Star League ($39.95 entry fee) and compete for a trophy and the $10,000 Grand Prize. Or, draft your MVP League team ($200 entry fee) and you'll also play for $1,200 in league cash prizes. Join our high-stake league option for $500 and play for $4,800 in league cash prizes.
The Draft Girls make the event! Remember that only MVP League and High Stakes League draft boards are managed by the beautiful Draft Girls.
Enter with a few friends or sign-up an entire twelve team league. You're welcome to bring a co-manager for a $30 table fee.
4. Post-draft. Immediately following The Draft, join other team owners to unwind, enjoy a no-host beverage, view the league draft boards and talk about what you're going to do with the $10,000 Grand Prize championship check.
5. Hot NFL Action. Follow your team online all season long! Make changes to your active roster each week, make key Free Agent bids, check your live stats and league standings and get ready for the playoffs.
